Job DescriptionFunctional Consultant (NetSuite Planning and
Budgeting) - Local Government Global Industry UnitWho We Are:The
Oracle Local Government Global Industry Unit has a suite of SaaS
applications for local government markets using cutting edge
technologies. These are exciting times in our space - we are
growing fast, still at an early stage, and working on ambitious new
initiatives.Who You Are:The Functional Consultant role is a
challenging, exciting opportunity for you to develop and implement
solutions for our NetSuite for Government Planning and Budgeting
product within our growing industry unit. In this role you will
work with multiple NetSuite for Government customers and be
responsible for the successful design and delivery of the
application. You will work with a strong project team of leaders in
the Oracle Local Government Industry Unit, along with Product,
Development and Support organizations to focus on delivering a
world-class implementation of Oracle software and products.You will
use your experience in EPM implementations to identify customer
needs and lead the delivery of a successful implementation
activities. You will use your strong understanding of planning,
budgeting, and forecasting processes to develop successful
solutions on projects with sophisticated business requirements. You
will use your strong influence and collaboration skills to work
successfully with internal stakeholders and
customers.ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do:Use your background in
EPM and government budgeting to lead, develop, test, and deploy
delivery of NetSuite Planning and Budgeting functional and
technical solutions for the customerBuild and maintain Essbase
Outlines, Calculation Scripts, Business Rules, Dimension Builds,
Data Loads and Batch Automation ScriptsConduct formal workshops
with the client to agree the solution design, displaying knowledge
of the business environment in defining the customer's needsDevelop
trusted relationships with customers, set expectations, provide
meaningful and timely communication, to deliver on promises and
commitmentsPartner with Product, Development, and Support to define
and develop implementation tools and practices for future
projectsProvide regular status on deliverables and milestones to
the project team and to the customerExercise creativity,
independent judgment, and business acumen in selecting methods and
techniquesExhibit strong executive presence and ability to interact
with key project sponsorsWhat you've done:Bachelor's degree5+ years
of proven professional experience as practitioner and/or
implementation consultant/Lead, either working with Oracle EPM
solutions within a consultancy or working within a company finance
function.Ability to plan and facilitate design sessions and to
conceptualize a solution of significant scope, across multiple
business processes.Proven self-starter that proactively develops
working relationships with key internal and external
stakeholdersStrong analytical and time management skillsExcellent
verbal and written communication skillsShown comfort working in
rapid paced environments with evolving expectations and priorities
and master unfamiliar concepts quickly with little supervisionAble
to travel up to 25% of the time as neededIt would be awesome if you
also had:EPM consulting and implementation experience with Oracle
EPM Cloud solution (PBCS, Narrative Reporting, Data Management,
dashboards utilizing ad-hoc queries, Smart View, Financial
Reporting report) will be a plus.Expertise in developing custom
integrations using EPM Data Integration, EPM Integration Agent,
Pipeline, Groovy Business Rule, and EPM AutomateA broader view
across multiple processes associated with the EPM ecosystem, like,
Integration of EPM with ERP, HCM, and third party systemTechnical
expertise in Essbase and EPM Planning in relation to configuration
and development including: Essbase Database (configuration,
performance tuning), Planning configuration, Calculation scripts,
Groovy ScriptingGood understanding of Income statement, Balance
Sheet, Cash Flow, Workforce planning, Capex planning, strategic
planning, different methods of consolidation and their calculations
and disclosure in financial

$89,000 to $142,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and
