  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients: adults and geriatrics, Cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, ETOH, Covid Bipap, occasional general surgical with heart history, medical patients with cardiac history, pneumonia covid, acute on chronic conditions, influenza, sepsis
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Tele/cardiac RN wanted with PCU experience, Epic preferred, ok with first time travelers
  • Shifts & Scheduling: 7a-7p, 7p-7a - If rotating shift, 7-7 rotation will not occur more than weekly. Manager to make schedule, will consider blocked schedule based on unit needs.
  • Update: Days - 3x12s, first to float, EOW

    • RN's required to titrate drips: Yes
    • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, Lasix, (low dose Dopamine), No Levo
    • RN's required to read their own strips: RN to read and interpret
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
      • Rotating shift will not occur more than weekly
      • Manager to make schedule
      • Will consider blocked schedule based on unit needs
      • Weekend Requirements: Every other
      • Holiday Requirements: Every other
      • Call or Standby requirement: n/a
      • Floating Requirements: All areas as helping hands, PCU for full patient load, MS for full patient assignment, some ER Holds/boarding

        • Unit Details: More of a tele/cardiac unit
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4-5, occasional 5-6 on nights, PCU level care overflow on the unit 1:3
        • Are RN's required to titrate drips? Yes
        • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, Lasix, (low dose Dopamine), No Levo
        • Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes- 1:10 is the goal
        • RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.)
        • Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot? Bipap, trachs, airvo etc.
        • Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Tele portable monitors and monitors in the rooms, and tech at the nurses' station.
          • Additional Details
          • Radius Rule: 50 miles
          • Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
          • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
