    • Job Requirements
    • Prefer to have surgical experience, post op, early ambulation experience
    • Ok with first time travelers
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 0700-1930, 1900-0730
      • Self-scheduling: Manager to make schedule
      • Block Scheduling: Will consider if unit needs are met
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
      • Floating Requirements: Float to medical and telemetry
        • Unit Specific Information
        • # of Beds: 30
        • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Occasional heparin drip, PCA pump, TPN
        • Charge Nurse present each shift; nights occasionally to take a low acuity assignment
        • Nurse aids/patient care techs: Yes - 1:12, 1 tech
        • RT Equipment: nasal cannula, RT does treatments
        • Tele/Monitor Techs: remote tele packs, monitor tech to read and interpret
        • RN does not read their own strips
        • Scrubs: Any color, scrubs not provided
        • D/N rotate - 7-7 rotation will not occur more than weekly

          • Nurse:Patient Ratios - Days: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-6
