  • 13-week contract OR RN position
  • Must be proficient in either Ortho/Neuro
  • Common Cases include ortho neuro total joints, sports medicine, arthroscopies, neuro-spinal fusions, and more
  • No scrubbing required for RNs
  • Charge Nurse for all shifts
  • EMR system in use is EPIC
  • 2 buddy call shifts for unit/department specific orientation
  • This department has a family atmosphere
  • RNs not required to scrub
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have 3 years of Ortho/Neuro OR experience
    • Must be willing to work holidays and rotate with perm staff
    • Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float as needed
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 8hr 0645-1515; 0900-1730
      • Clinical supervisor makes the schedule
      • Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week, 1515-0645
      • Weekend/Call Requirements: Fri 1515-Mon 0645 every 3-4 weekends
      • Holiday/Call Requirements: Must be willing to work holidays
      • Call response time is 15 minutes
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Number of Suites: 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 Cysto Suite
        • Cases Per day: 25-30 cases on average
        • Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift?: Yes
        • OR techs?: Yes
        • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 4-5 days
          • Additional Details
          • Must be proficient in either Ortho/Neuro
          • Ability to pick up extra for 1:1 sitting; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume
          • Radius Rule: 50 miles
