    • Job Requirements
    • Certifications Required: BLS
    • Prefer to have surgical experience, post op, early ambulation experience, ok with first-time travelers
    • RN does not read tele/monitor strips
      • Schedule Information
      • Nurse:Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-6
      • Charge Nurse on both shifts, nights occasionally take a low acuity assignment
      • 0700-1930, 1900-0730 shifts
      • If D/N rotate - 7-7 rotation will not occur more than weekly
      • Will consider block scheduling if unit needs are met
      • Every other weekend requirement
        • Unit Specific Information
        • # of Beds: 30
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: total joint replacement, spinal surgery, urology procedure, abdominal surgery (lap appy, bowel resection), bariatrics, medical overflow, hemo hemovacs and Jp drains frequently, colostomies
        • No GYN goes to maternity and cardiac MS Tele
        • Nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit: yes- 1:12, 1 tech
          • Additional Details
          • Bedside shift report is an expectation
          • Close-knit and good culture on the unit
          • Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
          • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
