Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: 3 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist License: North Dakota Medical Imaging Board registration Certifications: BLS, ARRT(R) Must-Have: EPIC Experience (preferred) Job Description: - Assist Radiologists during procedures, including scrubbing bedside and coordinating the room during cases. - Handle scheduling and coding of procedures. - Perform post-procedure film processing with charting and billing of cases and supplies. - Utilize equipment such as Electronic EMR (Epic), Sectra PACS, Toshiba IR Machine, and Siemens Ultrasound Unit. - Work independently on smaller interventional cases and pair in a team for larger angiography work. - Participate in the call schedule, including evenings and weekends as required. - Float to other departments, such as Cat Scan, to assist with procedures. - Work primarily in Interventional Radiology, which includes two fluoro rooms, CT utilization, and two rooms for ultrasound procedures. - Wear hospital-supplied scrubs as per dress code. - Engage in unit/department-specific training and orientation programs, covering EMR training and general equipment and protocol review. - Call responsibility encompasses around 10 days or fewer per month, with potential for late case completion. Note: The location is not accepting local candidates within an 80-mile radius.
