SCHEDULE:between 6:30am - 3:00pm - 4 hours per week1 weekend per month and some holiday rotations*PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:Carry out restorative therapy as ordered by the attending physician under the supervision of the Restorative Nursing Director, Unit Director. Charge Nurse, and Consultant TherapistsESSENTAIL JOB FUNCTIONS:Will be responsible for manually lifting and transferring residents up to 60 lbs. on a frequent basis. Will need to be able to reach, pull, move hands and arms in order to transfer residents doing the following actions:Bed to chair/chair to bed.Wheelchair to toilet/toilet to wheelchair.Bed to stretcher/stretcher to bed.Assisted ambulation of residents.Turning and positioning of bed bound residents to maintain proper body alignment.Responsible to provide a safe environment for residents and co-workers by following all established safety policies and procedures including:Awareness of chemical products used and material data sheets (MSDS).
