Job Description:
iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel
nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota. Job Description &
Requirements
2+ years of Cardiac experience
Active ND or Compact RN License
BLS & ACLS required.
General job duties. Types of procedures required:
1. Nursing staff that can take post cath patients, titrate
intervenous cardiac medications, and care for other cardiac
patients.
2. We use the EPIC computerized charting system, Accudose for
medications, API for timecards.
3. Minimum of 2-3 years experience with cardiac patients.
4.The employee would work with 2 other nurses on a 12 bed unit.
Call is not required. Every third weekend is required, 12 hr
shifts, day and night shifts.
5. The telemetry unit works with the observation unit- a 6 bed unit
that takes care of patients with an estimated 12-48hr length of
stay. It would be possible to float there, we would not require
floating to any other department unless the traveler wished to do
so and the census was low.
6. 12 bed unit, staffed with 3 nurses, and aid, and a telemetry
tech.
7. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only): 1:4
