• Certification Details
• BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Verification, UAP required
• Certifications Required: BLS, CST or NCCT, ND UAP
  • Job Details
  • CVOR Tech specialty position available
  • 2 CVOR suites available with an average of 1-3 cases per day
  • Common cases include Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneurysms), thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, and more
  • Charge Nurse for all shifts 7a-11p M-F and weekends 7a-7p; manager available until 4p M-F
  • Opportunities available for overtime and CV team lead will make the schedule
    • Job Requirements
    • MUST BE WILLING to cross train into general OR if CV volumes are low
    • Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
    • Candidates must be able to first scrub and have experience with open hearts, CABG, Valves
    • Must be willing to float to to the floor as a 1:1 sitter when needed to supplement hours
      • Schedule Information
      • Schedule is 0645-1515 M-F, starting at 6a for Open Heart Case Prep
      • Weeknight Call Requirements: 3-4 times per week, 1515-0645
      • Weekend Call Requirements: every other to every third weekend, Fri at 1515 to Mon at 0645
      • Holiday/Call Requirements: rotating holidays and must be willing to work holidays
      • Call response time: 15 minutes with 8-hour reprieve shifts for post-call; sleep room available
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Shifts & Scheduling details provided by CV team lead
        • Orientation: 4-5 days unit based; 2 buddy call shifts, flexible based on recent heart experience
          • Additional Details
          • This department has a family atmosphere
          • Radius Rule: 50 miles from facility
          • Candidates may not be currently working full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit
          • RTO needed upfront with no additional RTO approved after submissions
