  • Common diagnoses include dementia, diabetes, rehab/restorative care, and trauma patients.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of experience required
    • Understanding of dementia, stroke, and geriatric patient care
    • RNs required to titrate drips
    • Previous travel experience not required
      • Schedule Information
      • 12hr shifts from 0645-1915 and 1845-0715
      • Team scheduling with block scheduling possible upon request
      • Weekend requirement: Every other
      • Holiday requirement: Alternating/As scheduled, usually every other holiday
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Floating requirements: ER / Medsurg Support
        • 3 shifts of unit/department specific orientation
        • Scrubs provided, no specific color required
          • Additional Details
          • NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT
          • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:8, utilizing team nursing
          • Common titratable drips include electrolytes, hypertensive medications, IV antibiotics, blood transfusions
          • Charge Nurse on each shift with team assignments
          • Nurse Aides/CNA on each shift Associated topics: cardiothoracic, care unit, ccu, intensive care unit, nurse, psychiatric, recovery, registed, registered nurse, surgery
